Meet The Owner
Hi, I’m Christy Ager, and I’ve been living and breathing ceiling and interior restoration my whole life. Growing up around Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, first in town, then on an acreage, and later on a small farm, I learned hard work, attention to detail, and caring for every space I touch.
My dad ran a restoration and carpet cleaning company, and I grew up learning, experimenting, and finding better ways to handle even the toughest restoration jobs. Together, we co-created custom products and equipment, including the A1 Elite Mist, designed to tackle stipple and textured ceiling restoration, smoke and nicotine residue, and extreme residential and commercial cleaning safely and effectively.

About ten years ago, I got really sick, and that’s when I built A1 Spar-Klean, my baby—crafted around my allergies, health needs, and commitment to safe, effective restoration. A couple of years ago, I moved to Regina and started A1 Spar-Klean here when my dad retired and sold the rest of his company. Most products I use are eco-friendly and gentle, and for extreme situations, we use full PPE and professional techniques to restore your space safely. I also developed the Octopus Standard, a system of constant awareness that guides every job and ensures nothing is missed.
When I’m not restoring ceilings and walls in Regina and Southern Saskatchewan, I’m hanging out with my two dogs—including a working/service dog who usually stays home during jobs—and creating art. I love mosaics and turning comic book art into one-of-a-kind furniture pieces. If it’s detailed, tricky, or needs a little magic, I’m in.
At the heart of it, I love solving problems, restoring spaces, and making life healthier and brighter for the people and buildings I work with. I’m always researching, innovating, and finding ways to tackle the impossible more effectively.
